Ellie Jackson Residency + Recording Session

“When I feel safe, seen and supported, I come alive. Seems simple, but simple things aren't always easy. Last week felt easy for me because of the support of an amazing group of collaborators.

@caleyconwaymusic, @emilyswm, @barry_paul_clark, @crumbsonthedrums & @old.pup seem to tap into something intuitive & infinite every time we make music & afford me the same opportunity. I'm so grateful for them & @thenunnery & @vacationcowboy who came up to play & experiment this week, too.

Thank you@s_m_c_m & @sboardy_spice for being there with your gorgeous energies & capturing the space & the process. So glad to have met Cody & @mpbfilms @mol.sullivan thanks for coming up, sharing tunes & tight hugs, tears & such a great laugh.

Biggest thank you to @josh_evert_ who never yucks my yum, amplifies everything we work on together & somehow saw my vision of packing up & relocating an entire studio for a week, but wasn't daunted by it & who supports so many of us through @silvercitystudios

The Parlor Hotel *held* us. Cradled us in costumes & endlessly flowing coffee & conversation, delicious food, playfulness & such an earnest kindness. The gifts from people & nature alike in Princeton have made this vision possible, with no exaggeration. Horseradish Kitchen, Stack Farms, The Parc Department, Greg Wright, Matt Trotter, The Fox River, sandhill cranes, those two cats that walk up the street together.
