About the Artist: Rising star, Lauren Decker, possesses a booming contralto with “amber low notes” that is in a league of its own. Praised by the Chicago Tribune for her “timbral splendor,” she became a Lyric Opera of Chicago favorite during her time as a member of the Patrick G and Shirley W Ryan Opera Center. Recent performances at Deutsche Oper Berlin and Aspen Music Festival.
